Enabling Policies

We are instrumental in shaping and promoting EU and national policies that enable investors for impact to create lasting solutions for people and planet. The impact community relies on EVPA's guidance as a thought-leader and catalyst.

>EU Social Economy Action Plan: as this landmark initiative moves from plan to action, we facilitate access to finance for social economy enterprises, support enabling national policy and legal framework and promote impact measurement and management.

>New Financial Instruments: investors for impact are key actors for effective deployment of more than two trillion euros of EU financial instruments for recovery and green transition. We actively engage our community in this effort.

>EU Sustainable Finance:

  • Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR): financial market participants are disclosing sustainability information on their products to align with the EU's goals on sustainable economic growth.
  • Corporate sustainable reporting (CSRD): from next year companies will have to report on how sustainability issues affect their business and the impact of their activities on people and the environment.
  • Social Taxonomy: we work to make it clear (and enforceable) what investing socially means – decent work, adequate living standards and wellbeing, inclusive and sustainable communities and societies.
