Skopos Impact Fund aims to promote human dignity and social justice through impact investing. Skopos believes that through impact investing it can create opportunity for individuals and communities to realise their potential, ultimately contributing to a world that is just and respects and fosters the dignity of every human person.
Skopos invests in funds and social businesses that intend to generate measurable, positive social and environmental returns alongside financial returns. Skopos further aims to help the impact investing field develop to achieve greater scale, visibility and impact. They make debt and equity investments in developed and emerging markets and aim to contribute to the field by facilitating dialogue and sharing knowledge in the form of research & learnings and by collaborating with like-minded investors.
Skopos Impact Fund intends to invest 30% in developed markets (in projects that benefit low income or otherwise marginalised populations) and 70% in emerging markets. Kenya, Brazil and Bangladesh are priority countries.
