EVPA is now Impact Europe
The IVZW/AISBL 'European Venture Philanthropy Association', abbreviated 'EVPA', has decided to adopt an additional designation for the association, specifically:
"IMPACT EUROPE"
The new name, introduced on our 20th anniversary, is to be used together with the tagline The investing for impact network, and stays true to our mission of mobilizing the whole continuum of capital providers and stakeholders for positive social and environmental change. The name also signals a shift of emphasis from the ‘how’ (venture philanthropy approach) to the ‘what’, recognizing the increased maturity of the investing for impact market and the insurgence of new approaches and impact vehicles.
This does not affect any ongoing agreements.
The legal name 'European Venture Philanthropy Association' will remain. The association may additionally use the new name 'Impact Europe - The investing for impact network' towards third parties. This will be externalised in the future, including during the annual event called 'Impact Week'.

“IMPACT EUROPE”
De nieuwe naam, geïntroduceerd op onze 20ste verjaardag, zal gebruikt worden in combinatie met de slogan ‘The investing for impact network’, en blijft trouw aan onze missie om het volledige continuüm van kapitaalverschaffers en belanghebbenden te mobiliseren positieve sociale en klimaatgerichte verandering. De naam duidt ook op een shift van het ‘hoe’ (de ‘venture philanthropy’ aanpak) naar het ‘wat’, en erkent daarmee zowel de toenemende volwassenheid van de markt rond investeren voor impact als de opkomst van nieuwe aanpakken en investeringsvehikels. .
Dit heeft geen gevolgen voor de lopende overeenkomsten.
De wettelijke naam ‘European Venture Philanthropy Association’ blijft bestaan. De vereniging mag naar derden toe bijkomend de nieuwe naam ‘Impact Europe – The investing for impact network’ gebruiken. Dit zal in de toekomst veruitwendigd worden, onder andere tijdens het jaarlijkse evenement genaamd ‘Impact Week’.

Le nouveau nom, introduit à l'occasion de notre 20e anniversaire, devra être utilisé avec le slogan ‘The investing for impact network’, et reste fidèle à notre mission de mobiliser les acteurs sur l'ensemble du continuum du capital pour un changement social et environnemental positif. Le nom reflète également la volonté de mettre l’accent sur le ‘quoi’ plutôt que le ‘comment’ (l’approche 'venture philanthropy’), reconnaissant ainsi la maturité accrue du marché des investissements à impact et l’apparition de nouvelles approches et vecteurs d’impact.
Ceci n'affecte pas les conventions existantes.
Le nom légal "European Venture Philanthropy Association" est maintenu. L'association peut en outre utiliser le nouveau nom "Impact Europe - The investing for impact network" à l'égard de tiers. Cela sera externalisé à l'avenir, notamment lors de l'événement annuel intitulé "Impact Week".

Der neue Name, der anlässlich unseres 20-jährigen Bestehens eingeführt wurde, soll zusammen mit dem Slogan The investing for impact network verwendet werden und bleibt unserem Auftrag treu, das gesamte Kontinuum von Kapitalgebern und Interessengruppen für einen positiven sozialen und ökologischen Wandel zu mobilisieren. Der Name signalisiert auch eine Verlagerung des Schwerpunkts vom "Wie" (Venture-Philanthropie-Ansatz) auf das "Was", womit die zunehmende Reife des Marktes für wirkungsorientiertes Investieren und das Aufkommen neuer Ansätze und wirkungsorientierter Mittel anerkannt wird.
Dies hat keine Auswirkungen auf laufende Vereinbarungen.
Der rechtliche Name "European Venture Philanthropy Association" wird beibehalten. Gegenüber Dritten kann die Assoziation zusätzlich den neuen Namen "Impact Europe - The investing for impact network" verwenden. Dies wird in Zukunft nach außen hin sichtbar sein, auch während der jährlichen Veranstaltung "Impact Week".
