B. Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact supports the entrepreneurs solving our world's most pressing challenges. Through this program, we work primarily with Social Entrepreneurs and Digital Natives with Positive Impact. Factors we consider when evaluating program best-fit includes:

  • Strength of the technology solution and vision for impact
  • Clearly defined methods for measuring social impact
  • Support for traditionally underserved or under-resourced populations in the applicant's community of practice
  • Engagement with and impact on local social impact issues
  • Alignment to our 4 focus areas: Quality Education (SDG 4); Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8); Climate Action (SDG 13); and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16).
