Sustainability awareness around investors and founders is increasing. How can technology solve global problems? Is it more difficult for impact-driven projects to raise funding? Can purpose-led startups scale up and deliver expected returns? What do VC investors fear the most when it comes to impact investing? How do investors integrate ESG factors into due diligence, and how do they measure their investments' real impact? This webinar will address those questions from trends, theory, and practitioners' point of view.
Webinar 5: Banking on change: economy recovery and sustainability pressure - sector challenges and opportunities
When: 13 May 2021, 11:00-12:00 CET
The next CEE Webinar will explore pressure on banking from technology disruption, greater regulation and an ultra-low-interest-rate environment that has started prior to COVID-19 and has accelerated over the last year. What is the role of banks in financing the transition to a green economy and more just economy? Is the banking sector in CEE ready for more restrictive ESG reporting and new, more ethical solutions?
We invite banking and finance sector representatives interested in sustainable and impact investing to explore industry changes expected by the customers and needed for the transformation to move forward.
