EVPA, together with the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, first Polish family office Firlej & Kastory and advisory firm Inspired, invite you to a new webinar series on impact investing for CEE players interested in this topic.

EVPA and its partners join forces to increase the level of understanding of the responsible and social impact investing concepts by combining academic research on the topic and meetings with leading experts and practitioners who share their experience.

Run once a month, an 1-hour webinar in English, will present examples how private equity, venture capital, family offices and funds can engage their capital to support UN Social Development Goals and help to solve pressing social issues while making sustainable profits.

We will present facts, figures, business models and investment strategies supported by case studies from EVPA community of members and other responsible investors. You will learn about existing approaches, challenges and opportunities, to become an agent of change in your company or at your market. Speakers' experience will help to facilitate the conversation between investors and corporates or social-purpose organisations.

Webinar 1: How to make “sustainability” profitable?

When: 5 November 2020, 11:00-12:00 CET

In this introductory webinar we will cover megatrends which has influenced the biggest change in the financial sector in decades. We will look at these changes related to sustainable and impact investing growth rates, systemising different investment strategies and become familiar with different motivations that stand behind social investors. Experienced practitioners of venture philanthropy and impact investment will share their perspectives on the development of impact space in our region and practices from the field.

Webinar 2: How can investors contribute to SDGs?

When: 10 December 2020, 11:00-12:00 CET

How to invest to shape positive outcomes in the world? What is the relation between ESG and sustainable development? How to align investment strategies with United Nations Social Development Goals? All those questions we will address at our second webinar. Moreover, together with our guests we will explore if implementation of “zero carbon” policy into portfolios can be profitable and how we can generate profits from investments into renewables.

Webinar 5: Banking on change: economy recovery and sustainability pressure - sector challenges and opportunities

The next CEE Webinar will explore pressure on banking from technology disruption, greater regulation and an ultra-low-interest-rate environment that has started prior to COVID-19 and has accelerated over the last year.
