This publication gives you an all-compassing report of EVPA's survey 2013/2014. Four years of data has allowed us to analyse interesting trends and evolutions in the VP/SI sector. Below we highlight the most striking ones: The European venture philanthropy (VP) and social investment (SI) sector continues to grow. Support for societal purpose organisations through the VP/SI method, continues to increase. Venture philanthropy organisations (VPOs) support their investees not just financially, but also offer consulting services, coaching and access to networks. VP/SI organisations support a wide range of sectors and beneficiaries. The bulk of the funding is increasingly directed towards Western Europe. Among developing countries, Africa is still the main target region, but we see a sharp drop compared to fiscal year 2012.
