EVPA Scholarships in 2023
EVPA is a unique network of investors for impact. We bring together a diverse group of capital providers (impact funds, corporations, foundations, private equity, banks, public funders) and social innovators of all sorts – from household names to emerging new players.
The EVPA learning offer, based on the solid and rigorous research conducted by EVPA’s Knowledge Centre, is built to offer high-quality content, practical knowledge, fundamental tools and compelling stories to support investors for impact – at all levels of expertise – in achieving greater social impact and bring new solutions to address the most pressing challenges for people and planet.
In order to build this dynamic and effective learning community, EVPA Members have priority access to the courses and get a 50% discount on the regular fees. In line with EVPA’s market builder’s role, EVPA offers additional scholarships for its members.
Scholarship selection criteria
- Membership: applicant’s organisation must be member of EVPA.
- Motivation: particular attention will be paid to the reasons why the applicant and their organisation need the training and the scholarship.
- Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate their ability to apply the knowledge acquired through the training in their day-to-day activities.
- Preference will be given to organisations with strapped resources that cannot afford to pay the course fee.
Course fee and travel scholarships
Thanks to Training Academy funders' support (King Baudouin Foundation and other partners), a number of scholarships are available in 2023 for EVPA members with strapped resources. These scholarships cover part of the course fee or part of the travel expenses.
Course fee scholarship details
EVPA offers a partial fee scholarship to selected EVPA members. The number of scholarships granted for each course is limited to two partial scholarships. The partial scholarship covers 50% of the already discounted member fee.
Please read carefully the cancellation policy (see "small print" tab on the webpage of the course you want to attend), and in particular the section concerning scholarships. The selection of the assigned organisations depends on the EVPA Scholarship Committee’s evaluation considering all the requests.
Travel scholarship details
EVPA offers partial travel scholarships thanks to the support of the European Commission with an amount per participant depending on the place of departure as a reimbursement of proven travel expenses upon presentation of the original receipts. Only EVPA members who have been admitted in specific training programs can apply for this type of travel scholarship – more information can be found on the course pages.
